Monica Vera is founder and owner of LMB Design. Her passion and long time interest in interior design and decorating, strong business background and the ability to connect well with people, lead her to create this exciting home staging and interior redesign company. Prior to her work in home staging and redesign, Monica worked for USAA, one of the top financial services company in America for over 13 years, managing people and projects. Interpersonal skills and team work were a must for success. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX.

Monica has taken her education, background and experience to the next level by completing extensive training and was awarded the Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) designation. This designation is the standard and benchmark accreditation in the staging industry. As an ASP, Monica has undergone the highest quality of training through Staged Homes and is also a member of the International Association of Home Staging Professionals (IAHSP). In addition, she completed formal training and is certified in Interior Redesign through Interior Redesign Industry Specialists (I.R.I.S.), which is frequently featured on HGTV.

Monica was inspired and knew she had found her niche when she discovered the home staging and interior redesign industry, and the concept of giving homes a fresh perspective, while honoring the owner’s style and belongings. Yet, the true inspiration for the birth of LMB Design comes from Leanna, Mikko and Baylen, the three greatest joys in her life.
